The difference in the Original tin and the Cold Climate tin is the consistency. Much like wax, it is affected by the temperature. The cold climate tin is a little softer so easier to apply in less than tropical temps. If you are a year round UK surfer, you should go for the cold climate tin. If you are surfing in hot climates or the UK's summer time the original tin is ideal.
